  • Create InfoJetSoft document library
First create a document library named InfoJetSoft, its document template should be "Web Part Page". InfoJetSoft document library should be accessible for the users of InfoPath form libraries in the same site.
  • Create InfoJet EditPart.aspx Web Part Page in InfoJetSoft document library
Please add a Web Part Page named "InfoJet EditPart.aspx" to this document library by clicking "New Document" on its view. Users of InfoPath form libraries should have perms to access the web part page.
  • Add EditPane Web Part into InfoJet EditPart.aspx
Please click the button "Add a Web Part" first, then a dialog contains Web Part lists will be showed. Please find out the EditPane WebPart, and add it into InfoJet EditPart.aspx.
  • Create a form library
Please open your form template in InfoPath design mode, select File -> Publish, then publish the form template to a SharPoint server and create a new form library for it.
  • Add EditMenu Web Part into the form library view
Please open the form library created in the step 5, from the Site Actions drop-down menu in the top right of the form library view, please select Edit Page, and add the EidtMenu Web Part into the form library view page, then put it under the form list, like the screenshot.
Repeat this step in other form library view that will integrate InfoJet EditPart.
  • Register InfoPath Form Templates
By clicking "Fill in this form with InfoJet EditPart" or "Edit with InfoJet EditPart", the form template of current form library will be registered into InfoJet Service automatically. Please access InfoJet EditPart via the absolute address of the virtual site, rather than the relative address such as http://localhost.
Importance: If you get a JetException exception throwed by InfoJetSoft.Service.Ext.CABFileFinder.findCABFile while editing InfoPath forms, please add the key such as <add key="InfoJetSoft.Service.TempFolder" value="c:\log" /> to SharePoint's Web.config. Then please grant the full control of "c:\log" to everyone. By default, InfoJet Service needs to extract the files in form templates(xsn) to the system temp directory. But in some condition, such as the current SharePoint user has no perms to access the system temp direcotry or the files in it, InfoJet Service cannot extract the files in form templates(xsn), so please add this key.

  • Install InfoJet EditPart Manager Web Part
Please create a Web Part Page named "InfoJet Manager.aspx" in InfoJetSoft document library, then add InfoJet EditPart Manager WebPart into it.
You can remove InfoPath Form Templates registered in InfoJet Service by it.
InfoJet EditPart PortalMenu Installation
  • Add the PortalMenu Web Part into WSS Site Home Page.
It enables user to edit InfoPath forms on WSS Site Home Page in InfoJet EditPart. While exited the edit mode of the home page, this Web Part will disappear, then user could edit InfoPath forms in InfoJet EditPart by just clicking the form library list items on the home page.
