InfoJet EditPart How to Install

| Please following the steps below to install InfoJet EditPart. |

Install InfoJet EditPart Web Parts
Please uninstall the earlier version of InfoJet EditPart.
Run InfoJet EditPart.msi, and install it into
the target virtual server, then do an iisreset. Please delete
InfoJetSoft.EditPart.dll in Temporary ASP.NET Files directory if any error
occurs.
Please run InfoJet EditPart.msi, then click "Next".
Please click "Yes".
Please click "OK" and run "iisreset" after installation.

Create InfoJetSoft document library
First create a document library named InfoJetSoft, its document template should
be "Web Part Page". InfoJetSoft document library should be accessible for the
users of InfoPath form libraries in the same site.
Please visit "Documents and Lists" first, and click "Create".
Please click "Document Library" to create a document library.
The name of the document library must be "InfoJetSoft", and
please set its document template to "Web Part Page". Then please click
"Create".

Create InfoJet EditPart.aspx Web Part Page in InfoJetSoft
document library
Please add a Web Part Page named "InfoJet EditPart.aspx" to this document
library by clicking "New Document" on its view. Users of InfoPath form libraries should
have perms to access the web part page.
Please click "New Document" in InfoJetSoft document library view to
create a new Web Part Page.
The name of the Web Part Page must be "InfoJet EditPart", please
click "Create".

Add EditPane Web Part into InfoJet EditPart.aspx
In the upper right corner of the page InfoJet EditPart.aspx, there is a button
named "Modify My Page" or "Modify Shared Page", please click it, then a pane
contains Web Part lists will be showed. Please find out the EditPane WebPart,
then drag it into one zone of InfoJet EditPart.aspx.
Please drag the EditPane WebPart to InfoJet EditPart.aspx.

Add EditMenu Web Part into form library views
Generally you cannot find the "Modify Shared Page" menu in the upper right
corner of the form library view. If you have a form library view, such as
http://mysite/Reports/Forms/AllItems.aspx, please access the page with
http://mysite/Reports/Forms/AllItems.aspx?ToolPaneView=2,
you will see the toolpane "Add Web Parts" on the form library view.
Then please find out "InfoJet EditPart EditMenu Web Part" in the toolpane, drag it into the zone on the page of
AllItems.aspx.
Repeat this step in other form library view that will integrate InfoJet EditPart.
Please drag the EditMenu WebPart to the form library view.
Close
the toolpane "Add Web Parts", now you could edit InfoPath forms in the browser!

Register InfoPath Form Templates
By clicking "Fill in this form with InfoJet EditPart" or "Edit with InfoJet
EditPart", the form template of current form library will be registered into
InfoJet Service automatically. Please access the form libraries integrated with InfoJet EditPart via
the absolute path of the site, while not the relative path such as http://localhost.

Install InfoJet EditPart Web Parts
First, please install InfoJet EditPart 2.0.msi, then
you will find a new folder contains InfoJet EditPart 2.0_InfoJetSoft.cab
in C:\Program Files\WPPackager, the new folder's name maybe is
{86cd619c-959d-45d8-9e62-0157e1606bac}. Please:
(1). Open a command window by selecting Start -> Run.
(2). Type cmd at the open prompt and press OK.
(3). Change the directory to the folder contains InfoJet EditPart
2.0_InfoJetSoft.cab.
(4). Use the following command:
"c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server
extensions\12\bin\stsadm.exe" -o addwppack -filename "InfoJet EditPart
2.0_InfoJetSoft.cab" -url http://servername -globalinstall
This will install the web part on the virtual server at http://servername, and
the assembly will be installed into the Global Assembly Cache(GAC).
(5). Run IISRESET.
Please use "c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server
extensions\12\bin\stsadm.exe" -o deletewppack -name "InfoJet EditPart
2.0_InfoJetSoft.cab" -url http://servername to uninstall
InfoJet EditPart. Only remove it from Add/remove Programs - Currently installed programs cannot uninstall it on SharePoint really.

Create InfoJetSoft document library
First create a document library named InfoJetSoft, its document template should
be "Web Part Page". InfoJetSoft document library should be accessible for the
users of InfoPath form libraries in the same site.
Please visit "All Site Content" first, and click "Create".
Please click "Document Library" to create a document library.
The name of the document library must be "InfoJetSoft", and
please set its document template to "Web Part Page". Then please click
"Create".

Create InfoJet EditPart.aspx Web Part Page in InfoJetSoft document library
Please add a Web Part Page named "InfoJet EditPart.aspx" to this document
library by clicking "New Document" on its view. Users of InfoPath form libraries should
have perms to access the web part page.
Please click "New Document" in InfoJetSoft document library to
create a new Web Part Page.
The name of the Web Part Page must be "InfoJet EditPart", please
click "Create".

Add EditPane Web Part into InfoJet EditPart.aspx
Please click the button "Add a Web Part" first, then a dialog contains Web Part
lists will be showed. Please find out the EditPane WebPart, and add it into
InfoJet EditPart.aspx.
Please add the EditPane WebPart into InfoJet EditPart.aspx.

Add EditMenu Web Part into form library views
From the Site Actions drop-down menu in the top right of the form
library view, please select Edit Page, and add the EidtMenu WebPart into
the form library view page.
Repeat this step in other form library view that will integrate InfoJet
EditPart.
Please edit the page of the form library view.
Now you
could edit InfoPath forms in the browser!

Importance: If you get a JetException exception throwed by
InfoJetSoft.Service.Ext.CABFileFinder.findCABFile while editing InfoPath forms,
please add the key such as <add key="InfoJetSoft.Service.TempFolder"
value="c:\log" /> to SharePoint's Web.config. Then please grant the full
control of "c:\log" to everyone. By default, InfoJet Service needs to extract
the files in form templates(xsn) to the system temp directory. But in some
condition, such as the current SharePoint user has no perms to access the
system temp direcotry or the files in it, InfoJet Service cannot extract the files in form
templates(xsn), so please add this key.

Install InfoJet EditPart Manager Web Part
Please create a Web Part Page named "InfoJet Manager.aspx" in
InfoJetSoft document library, then add InfoJet EditPart Manager WebPart into it.
You can remove InfoPath Form Templates registered in InfoJet Service by it.

Add the PortalMenu Web Part into WSS Site Home Page.
It enables user to edit InfoPath forms on WSS Site Home Page in InfoJet EditPart.
While exited the edit mode of the home page, this Web Part will disappear, then user could edit InfoPath forms in InfoJet EditPart by just clicking the form library list items on the home page.
